This overview gives you an insight of what the 'job' entails ... I use the term 'job' lightly -- conducting Playshops is the best 'job' in the world -- not only is it fun, but to see the shift in women from anxious copers to empowered beings is awesome. No matter whether the shift is small or epiphanous, to be the facilitator for such a transformation is both humbling and inspiring.

Herewith is some more information about what you can expect when you become a Facilitator.

You've heard the saying... take your hobby and make it your job in order to be truly happy at work... Now you can really achieve this by becoming a Playshop facilitator.

I understand and agree that the focus of a Goddess Playshop is to reconnect women with their inner goddess.

The focus of a Goddess Playshop is to create a safe space for women to reconnect with their authentic selves -- their inner goddess. Of course, you can only take "baby steps, baby steps" for women who are taking their first step on this journey, but it is absolutely possible to facilitate an amazing and profound experience for ALL women at many levels with the use of the tools and activities contained in the kit.

I agree to tailor each Playshop in accordance with the hostess' requirements, whilst honouring the main focus of a Goddess Playshop.

A Playshop can be tailored to suit whatever theme the hostess asks for. If the group wants a spiritual, witchy or "woo-woo" experience then tailor it to be so. If they want a simple and laughter-soaked "girls night in" you can tailor it to be so. If they want to welcome a new baby or help a goddess sister through a transition or rite of passage, tailor it to be so. Or, if you have a specific skill that you are guided to share (eg tarot reading, reiki, yoga, jewellery etc) there is room for you to add your own flavour. Always remember, however, that the over-riding "tone and manner" of the workshop is self-empowerment -- connecting women with their ultimate source of power - their authentic self / inner goddess. Some ways you can achieve this is included in the manual, but I also leave plenty of room for you to incorporate your own techniques according to your own predilection and experience.

I agree to share my wisdom and skills with my goddess sisters. These skills are described below.

I find that people with experience in running workshops, organising groups, teaching (etc) do very well in this business -- it is spiritually rewarding as well as financial. Also, I actively encourage people with strengths in their own modalities to incorporate their strengths into the Playshops. It's all very flexible so you can build the best business to suit your natural skills. And so, I actively encourage each Facilitator to use her own skills in each workshop to bring the highest level of integrity and enjoyment to each session.

I understand that the basic kit gives me the tools and samples I need to get started. The super-size kit gives me extra stock and goodies to supplement my income. I understand that after one year I am liable for an annual fee to keep my licence current.

To become a Facilitator costs AUD$395 (+ postage) for your starting kit. It includes everything you need to get started, including the basic stock (for you to use as samples), a training manual and training sessions (by phone until I can get there in person). You can opt to receive the "super-size kit" also which contains extra stock for you to sell at your very first Playshop.

Details of what the kits contain can be found on the "Become a Facilitator" payment page at the online store. As this changes each time new stock is added to the store, the price and contents of these kits may change from time to time, but in essence include:

* In addition to the start-up investment, there is also an annual admin fee of AUD $5 per month, payable in advance and due on 1 July each year, to keep your license current. The start-up investment includes your first year of your license fee.

I agree to communicate with Goddess.com.au regarding the transparency and distribution of products and my services in order that we may co-promote my work.

This business model I have established sees you getting guaranteed income at every Playshop you do -- you keep 100% of the fees and 100% of the sales on the stock you purchase. Stock costs between 25-40% off the RRP, so there is a very generous margin available to you. You may market these products through the Playshops, at markets and fairs, through your website, or however you like. (See Nicole Graham's website for an example of one Facilitator's integration of the Playshop into her business). Just drop me a line to let me know what you're doing and how, so that I may support you in whatever way I can.

I understand that I will earn a better income if I hold stock-on-hand.

Generally you could expect to pay off the start-up cost after approx two Playshops (assuming 13 participants), although I've got one Facilitator who paid for her kit three times over in one night! You can keep stock on hand so guests can have their products immediately, or you can put in an order summary after each Playshop and I'll mail you the lot to distribute -- it is up to you how you want to run your business.

I understand that I must demonstrate activity or my license becomes void.

To ensure the Goddess Playshop "Find a Facilitator" page doesn't become stale or convey mis-information, please note that if a year goes by with no evidence of Playshops being conducted by you, your Facilitator log-in becomes void and your details will be removed from the "Find a Facilitator" page. You will be advised of the cancellation in writing with 30 days notice.

I understand that this is NOT a multi-level marketing business, and I agree to only introduce my own crafts and products with written agreement from Goddess.com.au.

Some people ask whether this is a multi-level marketing business... the answer is no. I have deliberately chosen a flat hierarchy so that I can develop a personal relationship with every single Facilitator. Yes, there is a "spotter's fee" if you refer another Facilitator, but no, there is no trailing commission which would create hierarchy. In this vein, I wouldn't be happy to see the Playshops incorporated into other hierarchy-marketed products (eg Nutrimetics, Miracle Juices and Diet Pills, etc etc etc), but if you craft your own products and services (eg jewellery, healing methodologies, etc) then let's talk.

Yes, I am interested in proceeding and agree to abide by the conditions outlined in this Memo.

If you're interested in proceeding, we start off by signing this Memo of Understanding so you know what you can expect from me, and me from you, then once payment is made I send you the kit and we get down to training. Postage of goods takes around 7 working days to reach you.

a) Join the Facilitators’ online networking group within one week of receiving my kit (subscription link is provided after payment)

b) Provide my photo and profile to Goddess.com.au for the “Find A Facilitator page” within four weeks of receiving my kit;

c) Schedule a training time with Goddess.com.au within four weeks of receiving my kit;

d) Maintain my own diary of activities, banking, delivery of stock and follow-up with clients;

e) Source hostesses to provide a venue/space that fosters nurturing of mind body spirit for guests;

f) Establish a quorum of guests and work with the hostess to invite the minimum number of required guests. Collect Playshop fee of AUD $30 per participant (hostess attends at no charge when 6 guests are invited);

g) Provide other equipment and resources as required or requested by hostess;

h) Aim to maintain appropriate stock levels so that participants have enough materials to share and purchase at each Playshop;

i) Display goddess.com.au branding at all Playshops and encourage participants to visit the site;

j) Be responsible for personal expenses, displays, site garnishment, paper bags, float, receipt books and sales records, public liability insurance and recruitment and payment of other staff;

k) Provide a ‘Lucky Dip’ for each participant with a value from $5 - $20;

l) Keep the ‘Facilitator redemption code’ strictly private and secure and use for Playshop orders only. Abuse of this code may result in immediate termination of rights to order products at Facilitator pricing;

m) Forward feedback, complaints, queries, case studies and/or suggestions for improvement back to Goddess.com.au in order to co-create an improved experience for all;

n) Forward media/advertising communications to Goddess.com.au for approval prior to release, and provide copies of any published editorial, advertising or media presence;

o) Participate where possible in combined advertising / promotion campaigns in my region;

p) Not introduce any other products or concepts into the Playshop without written approval from Goddess.com.au;

q) Uphold the goddess.com.au ethos to help women feel beautiful, sassy and inspired when they reconnect with their inner goddess;

r) Offer a beautiful, inspirational Playshop that will inspire participants to reconnect with their inner goddess at work, home and play.

I understand that Goddess.com.au personnel will not assume responsibility for actions I undertake for myself or others based on information in the Playshop manual.

As outlined in point "J" above, you are responsible for sourcing your own public liability insurance. (Goddess.com.au can offer a personalised, optional deal for Australian Facilitators -- just email Anita for details).

I understand and accept the returns policy

A note regarding the Returns Policy for the Goddess Playshop Facilitator Kit. No refund is provided once the Kit has been supplied. If a return is negotiated due to damaged goods or other reason beyond the control of either party, Goddess.com.au will refund the kit price in full less actual postage costs incurred.
